About Us

The St. Louis Chinese Journal was established in 1996, and since then it has been one of the largest free weekly newspapers from the Chinese community in the Midwest. The Journal is published in the greater St. Louis and Kansas City areas with a total circulation approaching ten thousand. In Kansas City, the paper is published under the name of Kansas City Chinese Journal. Weekly copies are delivered on Thursday evenings to oriental markets, restaurants, gift shops, bakeries and other commercial establishments which make the paper freely available to any interested reader.

In 2000, we published the first ever Chinese yellow pages, '' The St. Louis Chinese Yellow Pages ", which targets the Chinese and Asian communities. In 2003, the Chinese Yellow Pages further extended its market share to cover the Kansas City area. This publication now provides many outstanding opportunities for businesses like yours to gain access to thousands of Asian households in the greater St. Louis and the Kansas City areas.

The St. Louis Chinese Journal has been affiliated with the Southern Chinese News Group which publishes newspapers in other nine major US cities including Atlanta, the San Francisco Bay Area, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Portland, Seattle, and Washington D. C. Hence, the advertising section in the Journal also provides a great opportunity for you to promote your products or services in eleven major cities and to reach out to over 1 million Chinese people.
